Background

Prof. Dr. Ahamaduz Zaman is one of Bangladesh's most experienced colorectal surgeons, with over 40 years of surgical expertise and 50,000+ patients treated. He holds MBBS, MS (General Surgery), PhD in Medical Science, and FICS (USA)**, and is recognized as Bangladesh's only PhD holder in Colorectal Surgery. A specialist in general, laparoscopic, colorectal, and laser surgery, he treats conditions including piles (hemorrhoids), anal fistula, anal fissure, pilonidal sinus, colorectal cancer, hernia, gallstones, appendicitis, and other anorectal disorders. He is the Chief Consultant at Proctosurgery Bangladesh and also consults at Ibn Sina Hospital, Dhaka. Previously, he served as Head of the Department of Surgery at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College and Shaheed Monsur Ali Medical College.
