Background

For a low-cost airline, flying with Frontier Airlines DTW Terminal out of Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) was surprisingly easy and stress-free. Naturally, I was prepared for lengthy lines, confusion at check-in, or unforeseen fees because I was traveling with my family. However, everything seemed orderly and doable as soon as we entered the terminal. We checked in quickly and easily using the self-service kiosks, and the on-site staff was helpful when we had questions about our bags and seating. The terminal itself was spotless, well-lit, and spacious enough for us to find a place to unwind before boarding as well as for the kids to stretch out.
